Russell Brunson's Affiliate Training Center

Do You Think Being Coached By One Of The Web's SUPER AFFILIATES Might Be EXPENSIVE? Think Again!

THIS SUPER WEB AFFILIATE IS OFFERING FREE AFFILIATE TRAINING WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED:
Russell Brunson is considered one of the web’s most successful affiliates. Every month he cashes numerous commission checks, many ranging well up into five figures.

But it wasn’t always that way. When Brunson started out several years ago, he made all the usual mistakes and suffered the common failures of most affiliate beginners.

Then he ran out of money. That was when he decided that if he was going to succeed as an affiliate he’d have to depend on his creativity rather then buying advertising. It was at this point that his fortunes changed.

He discovered a number of techniques that suddenly started a flow of cash and he never looked back. Along the way up, however, he also began to see that there were many needs in Internet marketing that were not being met. So he also started creating products and services of his own.

He also realized that to succeed he needed a team of super affiliates just like himself. People who knew his secrets and could apply them to building their own super affiliate career. But these individuals were few and far between.

That’s when he decided to train them himself. And so he established ‘The Second Tier Affiliate Training Center’ to share his knowledge and secrets with others.

Many told him his coaching was worth thousands of dollars and he needed to charge for membership in ‘The Second Tier Affiliate Training Center’. But he decided not to do this. He knew that by having a membership fee there would be some, just like he had been a few years ago, who wouldn’t be able to afford joining.

So today, membership in ‘The Second Tier Affiliate Training Center’ is absolutely free. No gimmicks, tricks or strings.

A person truly interested in taking advantage of the enormously profitable affiliate web marketing can learn such things as:

- How to choose the right product to promote.

- How to set up an ‘Affiliate Squeeze’ page.

- The 3 ways you should spend advertising dollars (and they probably are not what you think.)

- How to build a huge targeted opt-in mailing list.

And there is a great deal more.

Just one word of caution. Right now 'The Second Tier Affiliate Center' is a pretty exclusive club and Russell wants to keep it that way.

If the membership becomes too large and cumbersome to handle, he will no longer accept new members or begin to charge 'big money' for the training. So don't delay signing up if you are interested.

The site contains more details and provides an open invitation for established marketers, beginners or anyone just thinking about wanting to become a member.

Remember, there is no future obligation to become an affiliate of any of ‘The Second Tier’, products or services. However, Brunson is hopeful that when an individual understands the benefits and high commissions available, that becoming part of his team will be almost automatic.

And when that happens, everyone wins. Which is the whole idea behind offering a free membership in ‘The Second Tier Affiliate Training Center’.

Beware of Brand Spammers

Have you ever wondered how legitimate those *Gift Card* offers are that you receive by email? You know, the ones that say 'You've Won A $500 Gift Card' and it's always from a top name, highly recognized Company.

I remember one time clicking on one those links. I didn't think I was ever going to get off that site. I came to the conclusion, if it takes all this to get the Gift Card, they can keep it! I really became skeptical because of the amount of personal information the site wanted me to provide. Regretfully, I had provided my email address when I began the process. Needless to say, it was a pain in the (you know what) to finally stop a slew of spam emails I received.

There was an article in April 2006 Issue of Business Week that weighed in on this very same topic on the magazine's UPFront page. Just in case you missed it - Here it is.

'BRAND THIEVES STEALING LOGOS TO PULL SPAM SCAMS'
WAL-MART, HOME DEPOT, STARBUCKS. The names attract millions of shoppers-and those who dwell in the ever-evolving world of computer fraud. Computer security firms are warning about a spate of *brand spam*, e-mails promising a *$500 shopping card* at Wal-mart or a *$500 Home Depot Gift Card*. The offer which use company names and logos without permission, require users to click on a link, type in personal data, and take a survey. Presto! The site says the gift will be mailed.

The offers are, of course too good to be true. "They are using the brand name to add credibility," says Joel Smith, chief technology officer at AppRiver, an email security firm. Smith estimates that of the 500 e-mails per second his firm filters, brand spam offers account for about 3%. Most have complicated user agreements requiring consumers to take additional steps before getting a gift, such as signing up six others for the promo. It's unlikely, Smith says, that anyone ever receives the gift.

Like phishers trying to steal credit-card numbers, brand spammers are trolling for consumers' email addresses and preferences. The reason? To sell the data to other spammers. Soon after signing up for one of these offers a user gets spam for obscure lotteries or *free* movie tickets.

Wal-Mart spokesman Martin Heires says the company is warning consumers that it never offers freebies over the Internet. Home Depot says it has worked with law enforcement to shutter sites using its logo. Starbuck says it is aware of the Starbucks *offer* which is "definitely not a Starbucks project."

Complete "Rules" of the Online Game

Today, I was catching up on reading my emails. In one email, I came across an article referring to rules of the online game and how they apply to everyone. Since the article is written by someone whose knowledge I respect hightly, I decided to share it with you.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

No Loopholes In Online Bizz "Rules"

- by Jim Edwards

© Jim Edwards - All Rights reserved
http://www.thenetreporter.com
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

I just finished teaching an intensive 2-day workshop in
London, England about creating ebooks and operating your own
profitable online info-publishing business on a shoestring
budget.

As I stood in front of a crowd almost 5,000 miles from home,
I realized (yet again) that the Internet represents the
great business equalizer of the 21st century.

Anyone with a great idea and the guts and patience to
persevere and act on that idea can succeed online, often
beating out much larger companies that can't adapt quickly
enough to prosper or profit.

I also realized while standing in front of the crowd that
despite arguments to the contrary, people all over the world
buy and sell online for exactly the same reasons.

Anyone who tells you that "My market is different" or "It
doesn't work that way in my country" has forgotten the basic
rules for selling online.

Bottom line: Anyone selling anything online - regardless of
their location - must obey the following "rules" or risk
many heartaches and an empty wallet.

** Targeted Audience **
What exactly do your customers want and what words do they
use to describe the products and services they will
purchase?

Don't assume you know how and what they want to buy - ask
them!

From this research you will determine the "keywords" your
customers will use to find your business while surfing and
using search engines.

You should then focus completely on these keywords while
constructing your entire web presence and advertising
campaigns.

** Focused Website **
Your website should center exclusively on those issues
directly related to what you sell online.

If you sell "purple widgets" then only write about the
characteristics, features and benefits of using your purple
widgets.

Take great care in your copy writing to keep your text
focused on one subject per web page and make liberal use of
your keywords and their synonyms.

Constructing your "mini sites" in this manner will aid you
greatly in keeping people focused on your sales message long
enough to make a buying decision.

** Targeted Traffic! **
A website without visitors rates the same as designing and
constructing a 30-foot billboard and then hiding it in your
basement instead of setting it by the highway.

Don't fall victim to traffic scams which promise thousands
of visitors for only $100.

Those schemes don't work because the traffic isn't targeted.
http://AdWords.Google.com makes the best place to start
getting targeted visitors because you only pay for the
visitors you actually receive (pay-per-click), not for the
ads you run.

** Build Relationships **
Successful online businesses build relationships with their
customers and prospects.

You can only do this if you stay in touch with them through
value-added mailings, emails, and updates.

Online businesses whose only communication involves repeated
"pitches" or opportunities to spend money don't fare as well
in the long haul.

A group of loyal customers and subscribers will sustain an
online business owner much longer than a fat advertising
budget ever could.

** Stay Informed **
Understand that creating a successful online business
requires commitment to a process of constant promotion and
continuous education.

You must stay current on cost-effective promotion techniques
for driving traffic to your site as well as any factors
specifically affecting your market online.

Video Predictions

FEATURE ARTICLE:
Google Creates Video "Vending" Machine Online

- by Jim Edwards

© Jim Edwards - All Rights reserved

http://www.thenetreporter.com

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
It's really no secret that search giant, Google.com, wants to own the gateway to all media online.

They operate the Web's most popular search engine, largest free blogging service, and one of the largest news services online.

Recently, Google started offering video from their website. Google's video offerings so far, comprised mostly of documentaries, news, and daytime talk TV programs, represented a testing device to get the kinks out of their video delivery and search system.

Now, thanks to widespread availability of high-speed Internet access, inexpensive desktop video editing, and the emergence of portable video players, Google is steadily ramping up what will surely become the Web's first video "vending" machine.

Log on to Video.Google.com and search a limited number of available TV shows.

Curiously, most do not allow you to play video, only to see still screen shots of the show and read a transcript taken from closed captioning for the hearing impaired. However, based on the fact that Google recently started accepting video submissions through their website, this format is about to change drastically.

Originally, speculation about Google's new video service centered squarely on video "blogging, " where online pundits would share their thoughts in video rather than written form.

However, after releasing more details, it appears that Google maintains much grander plans for online video than just allowing people with a camcorder to rant and rave.

Currently Google is in the "gathering" stage. This means they are accepting video submissions from content providers with very few restrictions.

Basically, Google says they want original content, no porn or offensive content, and they want it in a very specific video format (mpeg2 or mpeg4 with MP3 codec).

Other than that, the sky is literally the limit. For specifics, log on to https://upload.video.google.com/ and click the "Find out more" link.

Right now it appears that Google decided to gather as much content as possible before offering any of it to the public, so you currently can't view any videos.

Google also states that they will allow content providers to either charge for their videos or allow viewers to watch them for free.

Google states they will collect the money, take a small fee, and pay the content provider. This alone should excite anyone who sells content online because the barrier to entry (high-speed servers, video delivery, credit card processing, customer service) just got a lot lower.

Plus, it's a safe bet that Google will find a way to integrate revenue producing videos into their pay-per-click program.

Combine all this with the recent emergence of truly portable digital video players (Sony PSP, Creative Lab's Zen Media Center), and beginning of video-on-demand through
the Internet just arrived. Now this doesn't mean growing pains won't occur.

The biggest drawback to searching for and finding online video is that each video file must have a text transcript associated with it in order to get properly indexed by a search engine.

In the beginning, this will slow the production of new material. Despite these and other growing pains, plan on Google opening up the first and largest video "vending" machine online within 12 months.

Viral Videos Now Prime-Time TV

- by Jim Edwards

© Jim Edwards - All Rights reserved
http://www.mysitesales.com/app/?af=367068
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

I flipped on VH1 yesterday and sat enthralled as a rap
artist with colorful language skills hosted "Web Junk 20"
where they played 20 videos plucked from the web and played
them on cable TV.

Last night I saw that Bravo Channel now airs a show called
"Outrageous and Contagious Viral Videos" in the afternoon
and evening.

The show features videos found online, focusing on funny,
creative and "blooper" style content (though they skipped
the foul-mouthed rap star).

Though most of the viral videos currently getting air time
on TV get ooh's, aah's and laughter, the fact that "viral
videos" are now a part of everyday reality has serious
business implications.

For those of you without a teenager or that one "special"
friend who always sends the latest joke or video every time
you open your in-box, let me bring you up to speed.

A "viral video" is a video played from a web page or as a
file on your computer. It goes "viral" because one person
sees it and passes it on to more people, who in turn pass it
on to their contacts (like a cold virus).

This social interaction is the gas in the video's tank to
help it drive around the web, sometimes getting millions of
views all over the world.

Now, once we get beyond the "jackass" stunts, bloopers, and
giggles, the principles that drive viral videos can help
generate serious traffic to business websites.

These videos go viral in a general market because they play
to interests and emotions we all share, including: laughter,
horror, lust, and sadness. In the absence of any other
common factors, we, as humans, all love to laugh, etc.

In business, we've learned that niche markets make it much
easier to sell a product or service because we can group
people based on profession, physical characteristics, and
interests.

For example, a dental supply salesman knows to target
dentists and hygienists, and would not bother calling on a
craft store.

On the web, a dog trainer knows they should target dog
lovers, and if they're really smart, they target owners of a
specific breed of dog.

Anyone who sells anything to anyone online can harness the
power of viral videos to get traffic to their website simply
by targeting their videos at a specific audience and
appealing to the same emotions that encourage people to pass
along other viral videos.

** Humor **
Put a smile on people's faces, make them laugh, give them a
moment's break from a hectic day and they'll love you for it
(and want to share it with their friends).

Who says you can't make a "how to" video for your customers
wearing a chicken suit!

** Short and Sweet **
The best videos that keep people's attention last under 6
minutes. When starting out, try to keep your videos under 2
minutes, especially if they contain mostly "commercial"
content.

** "Ask To Pass" **
Sometimes a simple sentence of "Hey, if you like this video,
feel free to pass it along to a friend" at the end of your
video will start the viral effect rolling.

** Go Where The Viewers Go **
Once you've distributed your video to your existing
customers and asked them to share it, put your videos out
where new people can see them.

Start with http://Video.Google.com, iFilm.com, and
YouTube.com and then keep your eyes open for new places to
post your videos to attract new viewers.
