Extra Income System Review - For Everyday People

Financial Woes
We are being told by some our country’s finest leaders and financial experts that our economy is not yet at a recession point. Regardless of what “scientific” term defines the current economy, the reality is people’s “buying” and “paying the bills” dollars are no longer stretching to meet everyday living expenses.

Attaching a label such as “recession” to what everyday Americans are experiencing financially does not seem that relevant. Most people know without a doubt, no matter what the “politically correct” term is, when they go to the gas pump, buy food at the grocery store, pay the mortgage-rent and utility bills or pick a small gift up for their children and grandchildren; their income is no longer adequate.

Then to “add insult to injury” some financial experts out there are still advising the “average person” to put six to twelve months of their living expenses in savings for emergency purposes. Don’t get me wrong, this all sounds like very good, practical advice. However for many people, barely scraping by (possibly one pay check from bankruptcy or foreclosure) this advice does not seem so practical at the moment. This poses the question, where is the everyday person, who is most likely working full-time, going to find some extra income?

Extra Income Options
Finding an answer to this question was vitally important for me because I am one those people transitioning from the mortgage related industry because of the subprime meltdown, bank closures and tighter lending guidelines. For the past week, I have been reviewing and researching various ways to supplement income because I need to put something in place quickly!

I found there are so many methods out there claiming you can receive extra income online and I am sure I did not even scratch the surface. Some were ruled out as scams, others were just too ridiculous to believe, and there were legitimate ones, yet these programs required a large investment upfront of either time and/or money...AND that just is not feasible for most people.

Finally, I came across a particular “make extra money online” opportunity called Project Pay Day and I became very enthusiastic not only for myself, but also for others who could use it to generate more income to help their money matters.

Today, I will be telling you how to get started building your list of targeted leads.

First, I am going to talk about autoresponders. This information is covered for the beginners. If you currently use an autoresponder and have experience in this area, just skip this lesson.

Autoresponder Definition & Benefits:
An autoresponder is like an automatic email marketing machine. They are pre-programmed to send out message at pre-set intervals. The greatest benefit is you can almost completely automate the communication process. You do not have to spend time mailing out to all of your subscribers individually. Autoresponders are one of the best kept secrets used by savvy marketers to save time and make more sales.

Automation is an important key to lead generation success. Autoresponders provide the mechanism to fully automate your communication with your leads. Just set it and forget!

Low Quality Leads vs High Quality Leads

Lesson One: Start Your Lead Generation Building System
This first lesson will help you learn the type of leads to target for your opt-in subscriber list. I will show you how to find them in later lessons.

First, let’s talk about the primary differences between low quality leads and high quality leads.

For beginners, it is important for you to understand the two basic kinds of leads.
1. Generic Leads
2.) Targeted Leads

Generic Leads – Low Quality Leads:
Simply speaking, generic leads are people who directly or indirectly sign up to be on your subscriber list without actually reading your ad.

Generally, these leads come from lists you would purchase. Here’s the process how people usually get on those lists:

* Person signs up for a product, service or information and in exchange agree to receive emails from others.

* List Broker (one who sells the list to marketers) then adds the name and email of that person to a list to be sold to marketers. Be mindful, that person has not directly seen the marketer’s ad.

* Marketer (you) buys the lead list and sends an email to the person.

* The person is most likely confused when they receive the marketer’s email because they don’t recall requesting to receive this information.

* The person quickly unsubscribes from the marketer’s (your) list.

Now you can see crystal clear why such leads are considered low quality. The people on these lists have subscribed to some generic offer somewhere, but they don’t know you from Adam. They did not opt-in to see your ad. Most likely never had the first view of your ad . Therefore, they are not targeted leads , may have no interest in your offer at all and usually unsubscribe.

According to most reliable and credible marketing experts in the field, buying lead lists is worthless and a waste of money and time. It is strongly advised to stay away from purchasing these lists and concentrate your efforts on building your very own list. You will be much better off in the long run. Personally, I have bought lead lists in the past and found them to be of no value to me in building a long-term subscriber list.

Targeted Leads – High Quality Leads:
Without a doubt, the best leads are targeted leads that actually respond directly to your advertisement or promotion.

Here’s the process for receiving a targeted lead:

* Person reads your advertisement or offer at your website or in an email.

* Person subscribes to your list after reading your ad or offer.

An example of this are the leads I get through Lead Generation Page See how this webpage has a simple 3-line ad at the top. When someone subscribes after reading your very own ad, that is an opt-in targeted lead. These are the high quality leads I am talking about.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out your best results are going to come from targeted leads. These people are joining your list because they have an interest in your product, service or information after they read your ad or promotion.

And here’s the added benefit, you can have these folks for life. Stay in constant contact, develop a relationship, gain their trust and you have a ready-made source for any upcoming offer you have.

Discover Hidden Profits in "Spare Change" Time

Fact: Take the spare change out of your pocket every night
and put it in a child's piggy bank. At the end of a year you
will have at least a hundred dollars to spend as you wish.

Now take this same principle and discover the huge payoff in
the "spare change" time you've been wasting all these years.

How often do you sit in front of your computer and wait?

Everyone waits for the computer to reboot, restart, unlock,
"scandisk", "defrag", finish printing, download a file from
the Internet or generally accomplish tasks that have you
sitting twiddling your thumbs for at least 60 to 90 seconds
or more.

The shocking truth is that those one, two and three minute
nuggets of time contain the seeds for accomplishing all the
tasks you never seem to have enough minutes in the day to
finish.

Computers represent a double-edged sword. On the one hand,
they are supposed to save us time by efficiently helping us
with big tasks such as balancing our checkbooks, running our
businesses, and doing our taxes.

In reality, it seems the time computers save you gets sucked
right back up in time-consuming tasks such as installing
software, scanning for viruses and waiting for the computer
to restart!

Think about the spare change in the piggy bank example. Now
use that same principle to your advantage by developing an
awareness of how you spend your "pocket change" time in
front of the computer every day.

Small bits of wasted time add up quickly over the course of
a day, week, year - all of it in 2 to 3 minute increments.
Fifteen wasted minutes a day equals well over 1 ½ productive
weeks wasted per year!

Take this "one-day challenge".

Today, try these alternatives to sitting and watching the
"hourglass" on your monitor while waiting for your computer
to finish a task!

~ Organize your desk
~ Sharpen your pencils
~ Make a quick phone call
~ Check your "to-do" list; if you don't have a "to-do" list
make one
~ Write a fast note to a friend
~ Put in a load of laundry
~ Go to the bathroom
~ Get another cup of coffee
~ Pay a bill
~ Catch up your checkbook entries
~ Pick up your office
~ Brainstorm an idea
~ Stand up and stretch
~ Day-dream for about a happy thought for 90 seconds!

Carefully watch how much time you spend in front of the
computer waiting for it to do something and then see how
many things you can accomplish with that time.

Nothing could reward you more than developing a
consciousness about how you spend those spare moments that
add up to enough time to write a book, take a trip with your
family or take positive actions that will change your life
forever.

Use your "spare change" time to accomplish the things you
claim you never find time to finish!

Top 7 Mistakes eBook Authors Make

I have been doing some serious contemplation about my online programs after my last post. Sometimes you are not even sure of the answers you will receive. Or, the source of the answer.

So, I went into a little prayer session about Vortex Marketing Group and 4-Ecorp Fuel Managment Group. I do know during my time with Vortex Marketing Group, I was in close touch with CEO staff and found them to be genuine people who really wanted to help others succeed online. What all this "he say - she say" that appears to be circulating around 4-Ecorp, I don't know the truths or untruths of any of it.

Yesterday (Sunday) evening, I was listening to Joel Osteen's message that put me at peace in providing an answer about 4-Ecorp. If I didn't know better, I'd think he knew about the situation personally. The gist of the message was about being loyal to business partners, friends and family; even when they make a mistake. Joel urged not to become a part of passing along a bunch negative information, gossip and bickerings. There was my answer, I have no desire to pass along the contents of that email, so I have removed it from my blog today.

eBooks are the hottest thing going on the Web right now!

Authors with the entrepreneurial instinct are making
anywhere from a few hundred to tens of thousands of dollars
per month - that's right, per month - by selling ebooks
online.

Why are some authors doing so much better than others?
We've discovered seven key mistakes that most ebook authors
make (and in doing so, hold themselves back from major
success):

1. They don't write to a specific, target audience.

The biggest mistake most ebook authors make is they don't
clearly define, identify and visualize who they are selling
their ebook to. On the Web, to be successful, you must
write to a specific group of people who have specific
interests.

Make sure that you know exactly who is going to buy your
ebook, and where you can find them online.


2. They don't automate as many of their business activities
as possible.

Selling ebooks, though it is highly profitable, is not a
business where you make hundreds of dollars per sale.

Automate everything you can - credit card processing, ebook
delivery, as much technical support as possible. If you
can't automate a function, delegate it to someone else.


3. They don't have a compelling title for their ebook.

Use words that convey the benefit of what's in the ebook, as
well as words your audience is familiar with.

A bad title for an ebook: "Online Marketing for Newbies."
A good title for the same ebook: "97 Ways to Promote Your
Website - No Experience Required."


4. They try to cover too much ground.

Many ebook authors convey a lot of information but don't
cover anything in-depth. As a result, they never fully
explain anything in enough detail to provide any useful
value to their readers.

This is a very bad mistake to make, especially when it
comes to how-to ebooks, which happen to be the best type to
write.


5. They are not proactive in their marketing.

It would be nice if marketing for your ebook simply happened
on its own - but it doesn't. You have to do it yourself.

After you've promoted your ebook to the people on your own
mailing list (if you have one), then you have to contact
other Website owners and persuade them to be your
affiliates. You should do this continually.


6. They don't differentiate their ebook from its
competitors.

When you choose your topic, even if there are a hundred
other ebooks out there on same general subject, choose an
angle for yours that will make it easy for yours to be
distinguished from the others.

For example, right now job-hunting ebooks are very popular.
There are dozens that are big sellers. "Secrets of Breaking
Into Pharmaceutical Sales" has a very specific title that
sets it apart from the competition, and is aimed at a
clearly identified target audience. Incidentally, it's
selling very well itself.


7. They write ebooks that nobody will pay for.

Many ebook authors write about information that either
people can get for free, or that people are not actually
interested in enough to pay for the information.

Before you invest weeks or months into the writing of your
ebook, invest a little time investigating whether other
ebooks in the same subject area are selling on the Web.

So, there you have it - the seven big mistakes to avoid.
Remember, the opportunities are plentiful - and huge - right
now for anyone who wants to become a best-selling ebook
author. Simply use common sense, follow our advice, and let
your literary career flourish!
